The Co-Brewing and Packing Operations project created in a City-Owned, vacant former New Mexico Armory required business matchmaking, a public private agreement and the execution of a Local Economic Development Agreement.
The PPA created allows wholesale distributors to co-brew and/or distill alcohol and beer in a vacant armory owned by the City of Raton. The City has allowed the group subsidized rent in exchange for job creation and tax growth. The group has recently obtained the licenses necessary to brew and are setting up for wholesale growth.
